Music composer / producer. Session guitarist, performer and instructor.
Music is what I know, do, and love. There is always something new that can be discovered by mixing instrumentation, tempos, rhythms, and melodies. I'm committed to sharing my creativity with artists and those requiring quality original production music.
I started my musical journey in the 4th grade on the saxophone. Throughout my school years, I played tenor, alto and bari sax in concert, marching and jazz bands. At around 16 years of age, I started on guitar. After high school I got offered a gig playing the lounge circuit up and down the east coast - playing mostly guitar with a few sax tunes thrown in. After a year of that, another friend offered me a job teaching guitar in his guitar school. Played in several local (upstate NY bands). Also worked in another friends 8 track studio (TEAC reel to reel), where I did a lot of experimenting and writing. Fast forward, moved to Charlotte, NC - put together my first 2 albums (original instrumentals), which I wrote, played and produced. Currently, been teaching guitar full time and playing in a couple different projects. Also composing / producing for music libraries. I totally live for the melody in tunes.
One focus is creating "production music" - the name given to recorded music that can be licensed to customers for use in film, television, radio and other media. Many times, this music is owned by production music libraries.
My second focus is working with artists that need help on their original music, adding guitar, strings (and orchestration), mixing or other elements that will provide them a professional product that represents their vision.
